Hamilton, Canada Full Circle Adult Day Program Full time

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic **Recreation Aide** to join our team in a contracted role supporting both **one-to-one respite care** and **adult day program services**. This flexible position allows you to set your own schedule for respite programming while also providing opportunities to work within our dynamic adult day program environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Respite Care (One-to-One Support)**:

- Plan and implement individualized recreational activities tailored to client interests and needs.
- Set and maintain a consistent weekly schedule (minimum of 10 hours per week).
- Foster social engagement and promote participant well-being through meaningful activities.

**Adult Day Program Support**:

- Facilitate engaging recreational programs and activities for participants.
- Assist in program planning and preparation.
- Provide hands-on support during lunch and assist with participant toileting needs.
- Perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants.

**Position Details**:

- **Contracted Position**: Flexible scheduling with a combination of respite hours and day program shifts.
- **Respite Hours**: Minimum of 10 hours per week, scheduled directly with clients.
- **Day Program Shifts**: Additional hours available within our adult day program.
