**VICTIM SERVICE WORKER POSITION**
Location: The B.C. Society for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse
3126 West Broadway, Vancouver
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week
Health Insurance: After Probation Period
Vacation: 2 weeks paid per year
Start date: August 2025, ASAP
Wage: $35.50
**ABOUT THE AGENCY**:
The BCSMSSA is a registered non-profit dedicated to providing therapy and Victim Services to male-identifying individuals that have experienced sexual or domestic abuse / violence. People of all backgrounds and cultures are encouraged to apply.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum 2 years working with individuals who have experienced abuse.
- Recent experience with, and knowledge of the Criminal Justice System an asset.
**RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Diploma in a related Social Services field or two years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related Social Science program.
- Vulnerable sector criminal record check (mandatory)
- Competency with Word, Excel, Adobe, Jane (an asset)
- Multilingual communication skills an asset.
