- Assist and learn how to develop a marketing strategy which includes research, target market analysis, project implementation, media buying, monitoring, post campaign reporting and analytics.
- Share ideas and recommendations to team members for marketing and social media on a variety of City topics.
- Document recommendations and outcomes as well as tracking hours of work using internal project management tools.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a second year diploma or degree in any related program.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
- Basic knowledge of social media management tool/ software would be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires the following:

- Strong communication skills including writing and verbal related to an array of audiences and for a variety of platforms.
- Excellent listening skills and situational awareness.
- Good attention to detail for quality assurance of work and self-motivation.
- Strong collaboration and customer service skills to work with various colleagues, clients, and media vendors.
- Fast-paced, creative thinking.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
