**Overview**

Supreme Hoops Canada is a growing youth basketball program in Calgary focused on athlete development, confidence, and community. We are currently hiring **part-time Basketball Coaches** and a **Part-Time Social Media / Graphics Assistant**.

These roles are ideal for students, student-athletes, or individuals pursuing careers in sport, coaching, kinesiology, marketing, or communications.

Role Options

**Position 1: Part-Time Basketball Coach**

**Responsibilities**
- Coach youth basketball players (U9-U18) during practices and games
- Teach fundamentals, team concepts, and positive habits
- Create a safe, structured, and motivating environment
- Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and staff
- Represent Supreme Hoops with professionalism and energy

**Qualifications**
- Basketball playing or coaching experience preferred
- Experience working with youth is an asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable evening and weekend availability
- Respectful, positive, and team-oriented attitude

**Pay**
- Competitive part-time coaching rates
- Based on experience and role
- Consistent weekly hours during the season

**Position 2: Part-Time Social Media & Graphics Assistant**

**Responsibilities**
- Create simple graphics using Canva or similar tools
- Post approved content to Instagram (and TikTok if applicable)
- Assist with event promotions, tryouts, schedules, and highlights
- Follow a content plan provided by the program
- Tag players, repost stories, and maintain brand consistency

**Qualifications**
- Comfortable using Instagram and social media platforms
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva preferred)
- Interest in basketball, sports, or youth programs is an asset
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- No strategy, ad management, or messaging responsibilities

**Time Commitment**
- Approximately 2-4 hours per week
- Ultra part-time with flexible scheduling

**Pay**
- $18-$25 per hour
- Based on experience
