Channel Development Representative

As a Channel Development Representative at Martello, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our channel partner network and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding relationships with channel partners to accelerate Martello's market presence and sales objectives.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Identify and prospect potential channel partners within assigned territories or vertical markets.
- Execute channel partner recruitment strategies to onboard new partners effectively.
- Educate channel partners on Martello's products, value proposition, and sales processes.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to enable channel partners to effectively market, sell, and support Martello's solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering strong relationships.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for channel expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, marketing and product development, to keep PRMS updated
- Utilize the Microsoft partner portal to keep opportunities current and accurately reflect the status of partner engagements.
**Desired skills and experience include**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Channel Development Representative (CDR).
- Mandatory knowledge of Salesforce CRM
- Proven track record of success in channel sales, business development, or partner management roles.
- Strong understanding of channel partner ecosystems, dynamics, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft partner program and understanding of how it operates.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
**Bonus Points if you have**:
- Knowledge of sales engagement software like Apollo, Marketo, SalesIntel, Crossbeam.
- Proficiency in French, Spanish, or any other languages.
- Knowledge of the Unified Communications or Telecom industry
- Working knowledge of a Partner Relationship Management system like Mangentrix
