The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecting and automating scalable network systems in hybrid and on-prem environments. You will lead the design and execution of complex data center networks, integrate modern overlay technologies, anddevelop network automation as we evolve our infrastructure toward greater agility and resiliency.The Senior Network Developer will engage with various stakeholders across engineering, dev teams, corporate IT, and enterprise infrastructure to ensure consistent, high-performance network operations.You will also play a key role in mentoring engineers, setting design standards, and representing network engineering across the org.Scope and Complexity:You have deep subject-matter expertise in data center networking and have led the design and operation of production networks at scale. You understand how to apply automation, platform thinking, and layered architecture to support large environments with multi-vendor gear and highly diverse device types.You design straightforward, scalable solutions for complex technical problems using modern best practices in Layer 2/3, tunneling, overlay networks, and infrastructure as code. You anticipate dependencies across the infrastructure stack and drive long-term improvements.You have delivered multiple stable, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions that have powered real-world, mission-critical systems. You are familiar with designing and managing systems that support thousands of endpoints and services.Operations:You are a model of best practices — your work is clean, documented, and durable. You integrate telemetryand debugging tools into your workflows and improve visibility across the stack. You lead by example and help raise the operational standard across the team.You mentor engineers and collaborate across teams. You participate in technical design discussions, influence architectural decisions, and help shape our long-term strategy. You bring others with you by simplifying complexity and teaching along the way.You’re an effective communicator across engineering, ops, and product teams. You translate technical details into business context when needed, and vice versa.
