We are growing rapidly and we’re looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with us **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** We are looking for **a Sanitation Associate Manager to provide visible support to our sanitation associates in ensuring quality standards are maintained. **This role will be based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke. The hours of work will be 11**:30 PM to 7:30 AM**.** **WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE** - Assists in leading and overlooking the duties and responsibilities of the Sanitation team and ensuring the daily requirements and procedures are carried out - Must lead by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and teamwork among team members - Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide feedback for team members - Coordinates all sanitation activities to accomplish sanitation practices according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) - Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation records - Primary responsibility is cleaning of the distribution center/warehouse - Perform routine cleaning including vacuuming; sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting, washing walls, doors, and windows, and emptying trash as assigned by the Master Cleaning Schedule - Perform minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs - Reports major repair and maintenance as needed - Keeps all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper **SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE** - Working knowledge of GM P's, HACCP, BRC & O.H.S.A is an asset - Attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills - Ability to multi-task with effective time management and communication skills - Strong leadership skills to assist in coaching and mentoring employees - Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in sanitation is an asset **WHAT YOU’LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAM** There’s a lot of good stuff that comes along with being a DECIEM team member.
