**Job Title**: General Bakery Sanitor

**Location**: 271 Attwell Drive, Etobicoke M9W 5B9

**Wage**: $21.25/Hour

We are currently hiring a General Bakery Sanitor responsible for completing tasks assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor. Can effectively prepare general sanitation chemicals and equipment cleaning requirements on all lines along with general housekeeping.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS**:

- Responsible for completing tasks assigned from master sanitation program for the facility and for special assignments as determined by the Sanitation Supervisor.
- Utilize and maintain in-house sanitation cleaning equipment (Power washers, Vacuums, and floor Scrubbers).
- Understand, follow and maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations as required.
- Understand, follow and maintain all sanitation programs and requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Physical Requirement**:

- **_Bending, significant walking, scrubbing, scraping, mopping, moving objects, pulling/ pushing equipment etc._**:

- Ability to work with others.
- Occasional heavy lifting assisted by a partner of 50 - 100 lbs.
- Occasional frequent exertion of up to 35 lbs of force.
- Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be prepared to work extra hours when required.
- Must have excellent work and attendance record.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Warm and humid working environment.
- Hot and cold working environment.
- Fast-paced manufacturing, repetitive tasks, and stand for extended hours.
- Physically demanding, heavy lifting, must be able to handle weight up to 100lbs.
- The bakery operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Associates might be asked to work days, afternoons or night shifts.
