Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees, visitors, and contractors within our organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective safety training programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, training sessions, and corrective actions taken
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to workplace safety

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
- Ability to fabricate creative solutions to address safety concerns
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
