We are seeking a Part-Time Clinical Assistant to join our busy clinic in Waterloo.

**Availability for**:
Mondays 9:30-5:30
Other Shifts As Needed (Covering Vacation, Sick Days, Clinic Need, Etc) at Waterloo Foot Clinic - Westmount and Park Street locations.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning and set up of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining podiatric equipment
- Facilitating clinic work flow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff members
- Assisting with therapeutic modalities (i.e, shockwave, ultrasound, laser)
- Assisting with the proper set up of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
- Maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
- Ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
- Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
- Managing billing to patients and their insurance companies
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties

Experience and/or education in medical office assistant roles are an asset. We offer a welcoming work environment and opportunities for growth and development. Please note this position requires long periods of being on your feet as well as, some light lifting.

Pay: From $18.20 per hour
