We are seeking a Casual/Part-Time Clinical Assistant to join our busy clinic in Waterloo.

Availability for:
Mondays: 4:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesdays: 12:00pm-6:00pm
Other Shifts As Needed (Covering Vacation, Sick Days, Clinic Need, Etc)

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning and set up of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining podiatric equipment
- Facilitating clinic work flow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff member
- Assisting with therapeutic treatments
- Assisting with the proper setup of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
- Maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
- Ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
- Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
- Managing billing to patients and their insurance companies
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties

Experience and/or education in medical office assistant roles are an asset. We offer a welcoming work environment and opportunity for growth and development. Please note this position requires long periods of being on your feet as well as some light lifting.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8-18 per week

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
