Business Analyst

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain project documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction and manipulation to support analysis efforts.
- Create visualizations using Tableau to present findings and recommendations effectively.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Provide support in testing phases to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Leverage Bash Unix shell scripting for automation tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SDLC principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience with programming languages such as R is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile project management practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $53,565.16-$101,858.02 per year
