**Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth operation within the veterinary clinic. Your passion for animals and strong organizational skills will contribute to a positive experience for both clients and their pets.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and laboratory results.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinarians with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing examination rooms.
- Provide information about preventative care, nutrition, and other services offered by the clinic.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and managing appointments.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred; experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
- Proficient in computer operation
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records

Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- Front desk: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
