The Calgary Airport Authority manages and operates YYC Calgary International Airport and YBW Springbank Airport and collaborates with the many partners who make up YYC - from airlines to government agencies and retail outlets. This is an exciting time to join our #YYCCrew and drive YYC forward as one of Canada"s best airports **WHAT YOU WILL DO** Reporting to the General Manager, Accounting and Finance, you would work closely with team members to provide support in the following areas; filing, processing account transactions, account reconciliations as well as special projects. This role provides you the opportunity to gain work experience in the following areas; general accounting, exposure to financial reporting environment and accounting ERP system. **RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**: - Assist with AR and AP invoicing and disbursements - Assist with month-end closings and reconciliations - Assist with the capital asset cycle and/or capital program - Work process analysis and documentation - Filing and special projects, as applicable **WHAT YOU BRING** - Pursing a Bachelor or Commerce degree or Business Administration diploma or similar - Strong organizational skills - Proactive problem solver with the desire and ability to achieve results - Detail-oriented, resourceful, and enthusiastic - A passion for building and maintaining good working relationships **WHAT ELSE?** - To qualify as a co-op or internship student, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary program where a work term is a formal requirement of the program and be able to provide documentation to that effect. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a restricted area identification card (RAIC). - This role is eligible for our hybrid work model with a combination of in-office and remote work. **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT** It’s simple - we invest in our people because they are the backbone of our success.
