Finance and Accounting Co-Op Join to apply for the Finance and Accounting Co-Op role at CPKC. Purpose of the Position The CPKC Co-op Program offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with a large public company while contributing to projects that drive real change. You’ll analyze data, collaborate with industry experts, and help improve processes in real time. If you’re passionate about analytics and problem‑solving, this summer placement begins in May 2026. Position Accountabilities Analyze monthly and quarterly financial data Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations Support preparation of monthly forecasts for revenue, expenses and/or capital Support finance and accounting projects, including process improvements and IT enhancements Position Requirements Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preference will be given to students entering 3rd or 4th year Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel Pre-Employment Requirements Criminal history check Education verification Professional references Culture of Inclusion & Equal Opportunity For our U.S. applicants, CPKC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer, inclusive of protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
