**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare meals as directed, and in accordance with Wild Wing recipes.
- Cook food in a timely manner, and be able to prioritize orders and meal preparation activities.
- Ensure the quality of every guest order, including quality presentation.
- Provide the necessary support to other cooks and kitchen manager/supervisor.
- Monitor inventory and ensure freshness of products.
- Comply with health and safety standards.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Excellent knowledge of the food and beverage industry
- A strong understanding of culinary procedures, trends, and standards
- Interpersonal and collaborative skills for working in a team setting
- Ability to work under pressure; do heavy lifting
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome issues in the kitchen
- Strong leadership skills needed for organizing and planning a large kitchen staff
- Ability to be on their feet for long periods of time
- Set standards for kitchen cleanliness and ensuring cleaning is done regularly
- Tracking kitchen waste and looking for improvements for financial return
- Ability to lead and assign daily tasks to the team to ensure daily duties are completed

**Requirements**:

- Previous kitchen experience and knowledge of health and sanitation standards are an asset.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Must have Food Handling Certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18.5 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Kitchen: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)

Work Location: In person
