We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Biology Tutor to help students understand biological concepts and strengthen their academic performance. The tutor will provide individualized or small-group instruction, adapting teaching methods to each student’s learning style and educational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Explain biology topics clearly, including cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, human anatomy & physiology, and basic biochemistry
- Assist students with homework, lab reports, and exam preparation
- Develop customized lesson plans to address individual learning needs
- Reinforce scientific reasoning, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
- Create practice questions, review materials, and study guides
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment

**Qualifications**
- Strong background in biology (high school, AP, or college-level)
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field preferred (or currently pursuing)
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way
- Dependable, organized, and professional

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with AP, IB, SAT Subject Tests, or introductory college biology
- Familiarity with online tutoring tools and virtual whiteboards
- Strong time-management and organizational skills

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
