This role is ideal for someone who is patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoys guiding students through structured learning, not just completing tasks for them.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach VEX IQ Robotics classes, including mechanical building, basic programming, and task-based challenges

  • Provide patient, age-appropriate instruction tailored to individual learning styles
  • Maintain a positive, focused, and respectful classroom environment
  • Collaborate with other instructors and coaches to improve curriculum and teaching quality
  • Support student development toward competitive teams (for qualified instructors)

Qualifications:

  • Strong patience and sense of responsibility when working with students in Grades 4–8
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging way
  • Reliable, well-organized, and committed to consistent teaching quality
  • Willingness to follow a structured teaching system and training standards

Preferred Background:

  • Experience with VEX IQ, VEX V5, FLL, FTC, or FRC
  • Background in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related fields
  • Previous experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring children or teens
  • Familiarity with robotics competitions and team-based learning environments

What We Offer:

  • A well-structured curriculum and training system (no need to create lessons from scratch)
  • Supportive and professional coaching team
  • Clear pathways for growth into advanced teaching or competition coaching roles
  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and performance
  • A mission-driven environment focused on long-term student success

Who This Role Is For:

  • You enjoy working with children and set clear expectations
