Job Title: Optometrist Office Administration Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and friendly individual to join our team as an Optometrist Office Administration Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, performing pre-testing procedures, making patient calls, and booking appointments. You will work closely with the optometrist and other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct pre-testing procedures, including measuring visual acuity, taking eye pressure, and gathering patient medical history.
- Schedule appointments using the office's scheduling system, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate with the optometrist and other staff members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes, as needed.
- Maintaina clean and organized office environment, including stocking supplies and organizing paperwork.

Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree/Current enrollment in an undergraduate studies program.
- Strong customer service skills. Previous experience in customer service would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records and paperwork.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and patients.

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
