**About the Job**

We are looking for someone to work closely with Physicians and perform a range of clinical, clerical and managerial tasks that help maintain organization and keep the facility running efficiently. We are interviewing for a dynamic, experienced Clinic Manager to become an integral team member of our clinic located in Kitchener.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Ensure daily operations of clinic by managing clinical and administrative staff
- Working in a clinic setting, provide customer service to patients, following all safety protocols
- Building appropriate work schedules
- Organize clinic, doctor and staff schedules
- Manage clinical and administrative staff
- Addresses patient concerns and issues
- Provide coverage of administrative roles when necessary
- Managing day-to-day operations to ensure the clinic is operational, including potential IT troubleshooting
- Provide ongoing training, development, and regular performance evaluation of clinic operations staff
- Participate in the recruitment process of orientation, and training of clinical and administrative staff
- Acts as the primary contact with clinic staff and medical providers across all programs for all operational and administrative issues
- Help MOAs with administration duties, including but not limited to, picking up calls, scheduling patients, filing faxes, tracking referrals, etc
- The manager should also be able to triage patients
- Oversee and supervise staff and Vendors
- Provide Health and safety training
- Plan and manage the clinic's budget and approve payroll
- Present emergency protocols such as fire or medical emergencies
- Develop Clinic Policies
- Communicate with management and update on any clinic statues, urgent requests, etc.
- Attend all mandatory meetings as scheduled by management
- Checking Inventory & Ordering Supplies
- Conduct Staff Meetings, Physician Meetings
- Tracking of Uninsured Services
- Increase the Efficiency and Quality of Patient Care
- Ensure that day to day patient operations and flow is running smoothly
- Ensure that staff complete their responsibilities in a timely manner
- Address any complaints from patients and doctors

**Qualifications**
- Previous management experience in a clinical setting, **2-3 years’ experience in clinic operations healthcare environment; multi-site practice is an asset.**
- Experience in EMR-Accuro, OHIP, Blue Cross and 3rd party billing
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
- First aid & CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and advanced communication skills.
- Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions
- Must be customer service oriented and prepared to liaise with patients, their families and other care providers
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Ability to delegate tasks as needed
- Required to have a valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle.
