Leasing Coordinator

Gilic Developments is an innovative real estate firm based in Vancouver. This diverse company is vertically integrated with in-house departments responsible for execution of the company’s activities including real estate investment, property development, as well as leasing, sales, and marketing.
**Specific Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)**:
- Communicate with Property Management team when units are vacated and provide leasing comments;
- Schedules move-in & out inspections and pre-screen the inspection forms prepared by Property Management team;
- Schedule showings & return phone calls in a timely manner;
- Prepare summaries for new leases, extensions, renewals, and offers in a timely and efficient manner;
- Prepare initial drafts of leases, amending agreements, renewal or extension agreements and other related lease documentation;
- Run credit checks, title searches and corporate searches;
- Update and track commercial lease information;
- Follow up with brokers on market reporting and provide a summary of the reporting;
- Responds to tenant inquiries, concerns, emergencies and complaints in a timely manner;
- General understanding of accounting principles and procedures;
- Provide administrative support;
- Process preliminary monthly rent roll, vacancy and lease expiration report;
- Monitor daily AR report for Portfolio Manager;
- Prepare outstanding, demand, or/and default letters as needed; and
- Assist with preparation of leasing assumptions and rent forecast.
**Qualifications & Skills (not limited to)**:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in commercial real estate leasing administration;
- Marketing experience is a benefit;
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce highly professional documents and correspondence;
- Team player mentality, keeping in mind the big picture and overall success of the organization;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
