**Position Summary**:
As the Outlet Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, providing leadership, training, and support to the team. You will ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while actively contributing to menu development, inventory management, and kitchen morale.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
- Train, manage, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of morale and productivity.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage food ordering, inventory, and costs to ensure adequate resources and efficiency.
- Conduct line checks, expedite during service, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and refine menu offerings.
- Foster open communication between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and enhance their dining experience.
- Manage scheduling, labor costs, and administrative tasks, including payroll and performance reviews.
- Proactively address maintenance and operational issues.
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Food Safe Certification.
- At least 8 years of combined cooking experience, with extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, including purchasing, staff scheduling, and quality control.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Creativity and innovation in food presentation and preparation.
- Proficiency with MS Office and kitchen management software.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic environment.
