**O’Hanlon Paving, a proud member of The Fath Group of Companies, **has been a key player in the Edmonton, road construction industry for over 65 years. We are looking to hire a **Junior Estimator/Project Coordinator **to join our Sales & Engineering team. This is a permanent-full-time position based at our head office, located in Edmonton. The **Junior Estimator/Project Coordinator **must be able to align with the company’s core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect. Some key responsibilities include the following:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of cost estimates for road construction projects;
- Review and analyze bid packages;
- Handle frequent communication with sub-contractors;
- Assist with project plan take-off, scheduling and estimating projects;
- Interpret tender specifications, documents and plans;
- Attend and participate in onsite meetings with clients, owners, representatives, staff and contractors;
- Assist with project site measurements;
- Assist project managers with administrative tasks.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum qualification of a Civil Technology diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution is required;
- 3-5 years Estimator/Project Coordinatorexperience is highly desirable; however we will consider less experienced applicants;
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract are required;
- Must have proven ability to be self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervision;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required;
- Ability to work long hours/some weekends during the busy summer/fall season is required;
- Must possess strong organization skills, strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Must be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment;
- Estimating experience with capability of using Heavy Bid or equivalent system is desirable.
