Branch Clerk

**Full-time Branch Clerk**
**Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM**

**What You’ll Do**:

- Forwards requests for information to appropriate departments; including but not limited to Customer Service, Rates, Claims and Accounting.
- Processes Pickup and Delivery and Inter Terminal Manifests originating from own Branch.
- Transfers information from waybills, manifests, and dispatches trips between Agents in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Books and records delivery appointments.
- Keys manual Proof of Delivery’s (POD) for shipments delivered on the original Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Prepares and attaches truck mail to outbound running orders daily.
- Maintains accurate and complete records of all Branch Cash Freight and prepares bank deposits.
- Maintains office equipment; including calling service technicians.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Who You Are**:

- High School diploma; courses in Business Administration or a related field, with one (1) years’ experience in an office environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Freight Industry experience preferred.
- Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
- Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia.
- Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Advanced level typing speed and accuracy.
- Positive attitude that communicates job related issues with a constructive, problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, in order to be effective in requesting and delivering information.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.

Pay: $22.29-$24.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
