**Ottawa Warehouse Assistant**

**_ Benefits:_**
- Wage is $21.00 per hour (40-44)
- Health Benefits after 6 months (company pays 80% and team member pays 20%)
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
- 6 paid sick days per year -eligible after 6 months.

**_Duties & Responsibilities:_**
- Accurately select customer orders, and pack them onto a skid for shipping.
- Wrap skid.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Perform all other tasks/duties as required.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices.
- Record shortages and reject damaged goods.

**FULL-TIME night shift is 9 -5:00 am (Sunday
- Thursday) Hours can vary based on business needs**

**_Skills:_**
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs.
- Is a team player and result oriented.
- Forklift experience preferred, however willing to train to work towards your forklift license.

**_Working Conditions:_**
- Working in and out of Coolers and Freezer (min time spent in the freezer).

**_Requirements:_**
- Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.
- You are required to have certified safety boots
- Valid forklift license is an asset.
