The Manager on Duty at the Westin is an inspired leader who works with the team of Front Office and Housekeeping Associates to ensure the highest possible quality of guest and associate experience. They will inspire performance through collaboration, team building, and being passionate about guest service standards by not "being okay with okay". - Provides meaningful guidance, coaching and counselling to Associates. - Uses Marriott success metrics to influence and guide excellent guest service delivery and tailored guest experiences. - Oversees daily hotel operations that allow for a seamless guest experience, scheduling, anticipating guest/group needs, checking in and out of guests, communication of resort activities and events. - Resolves customer and staff concerns to maintain a high level of guest and employee satisfaction. - Works closely with Housekeeping, Homeowner Services and Maintenance to deliver quality experiences **WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?** - Previous supervisory or leadership experience - 2 years' experience within front desk or housekeeping operations - Strong computer/systems knowledge - Proven ability to manage challenging and dynamic situations tactfully and appropriately to a resolution (i.e. customer relations, inventory management, hotel emergencies etc.) **AUTHENTICITY | EMPOWERMENT | COLLABORATION | PURPOSE** **BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT COMPANY OVERVIEW** Blue Mountain Resort is Ontario's largest mountain resort.
