We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recreation Therapy Aide Instructor to join our team. As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging recreational activities. **Responsibilities**:
Recreation Therapy Aide Instructor is responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Recreation Therapy Aide program. This position involves delivering a curriculum that covers therapeutic recreation principles, techniques, and practices to prepare students for careers as Recreation Therapy Aides. The instructor will create an engaging learning environment, provide hands-on training, and assess student performance to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or equivalent credential.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in therapeutic recreation or a related healthcare field.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems (LMS).
**Job Type**: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 per week
