Under the supervision of the Stair Production Lead and Stair Production Manager you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support stair production and customer order fulfillment.

This is an entry level position suitable for anyone interested in woodworking and carpentry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pull railings for customer orders
- Assist in wood milling and wood working operations in the production of wood stairs and posts
- Communicate and understand verbal instruction in English
- Maintain the organization of shop materials
- Maintain the organization of the rail area
- Other duties as may be assigned

**Job Qualifications**:

- Willing and eager to learn
- Experience and desire to do physical work
- Understanding and experience using hand and power tools
- Read a tape measure
- Ability to read and understand numbers on customer orders
- Strong people, teamwork, and communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to follow directions
- Able to maintain and clean and safe work area
- Work safely and in accordance with all Health and Safety regulations

**Qualifications considered to be an asset**:

- Previous woodworking experience
