We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented General Labourers to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

NV Piping Systems Inc. is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting in the fabrication and assembly of stainless steel pipe spools, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing various hands-on tasks to support shop operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean welds of slag and spatter using hand tools such as grinders and wire brushes.
  • Assemble and bolt pipe spools according to work instructions.
  • Pack and skid pipe spools for shipping.
  • Perform hydrostatic testing on pipe spools as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company work instructions, procedures, and policies.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist welders, fitters, and other trades as required.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Perform general material handling, including moving, lifting, and positioning pipe spools and other materials.
  • Other general labour duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Experience using hand and power tools is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is an asset but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
