Reports to**:Night Shift Production Supervisor**

Type of position: Fulltime/Hourly/Union

**Purpose OF ROLE**

The General Labour position supports the overall production and manufacturing processes at Grober Nutrition. This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks including material handling, equipment operation support, sanitation, and assisting production teams to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations. General Labour employees are expected to follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food safety regulations while contributing to a clean and organized work environment

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Assist with daily production activities, including preparing, handling, and moving materials.
- Operate equipment and machinery safely under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Support production line activities such as packaging, labeling, and quality checks.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.
- Perform other general labour tasks as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum high school diploma and/or relevant manufacturing or dairy experience.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), excellent sanitary habits, and understanding of HACCP principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the job and able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability considered an asset.

**Physical Demands**
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 20 kg.

Pay: $17.25-$22.14 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
