Fil-Trek Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial filtration equipment for customers around the globe. Our products are designed and manufactured at our Cambridge, ON facility.

We are currently looking for experienced General Labourers to join our team. Fil-Trek is a rapidly growing company with a lot to offer. If you demonstrate an eagerness to learn new skills relevant to our operations; we can offer you the opportunity to learn more and earn more. Fil-Trek is prepared to invest in your success in trades such as welding/fitting and machinist (manual and CNC), etc.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Perform the day-to-day tasks for departments throughout the plant, as required.
- Previous Warehouse, Shipping or Material Handling experience are considered assets.
- Shotblast/Industrial Paint experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with various power tools, measuring devices would be considered an asset.
- Assist with loading shipments, with the capability to handle repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, (ie) lift truck, forklift, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure orders are shipped in their entirety.
- Experience operating overhead cranes.
- Previous forklift experience (certification) considered an asset.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of departments throughout the plant, as required.
- Ensure safe working conditions for departments throughout the plant, as required.
- Summer Students are encouraged to apply.
- Wage negotiable based on experience.

**Qualifications**
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and demonstrate same.
- Work as part of a team to meet shared goals.
- Frequently noisy working environment.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Overtime as required.
