We are seeking enthusiastic, high-energy **Front of House and Event Enthusiasts**who truly enjoy working in a team environment and are passionate about craft beer. As an ambassador of our brand they will be a key member of our exceptional team who is front and centre of what we brew, ensuring quality product is in our customers hands every time. They will make sure that our retail space is merchandised and well stocked while engaging and educating our guests on Wellington brands and products. They will also execute best in class service at onsite and offsite events educating consumers on the brand and helping them along their beer journey while elevating brand awareness.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the overall Wellington Brewery experience of all Taproom guests
- Greeting and welcoming each guest and providing an exceptional experience in serving food and drinks to our amazing customers.
- Leading guided tours and tastings to both small and large groups
- Rotating beer inventory and stocking accordingly
- Daily cleaning and maintaining of the retail, taproom and outdoor spaces
- Packaging online store orders efficiently and accurately
- Assisting with taproom and retail store displays and merchandising
- Working internal and external events, festivals, markets and sampling opportunities
- Operation of company vehicles, offsite event booth and equipment setup and teardown
**Qualifications**:
- Must be smart serve certified (minimum age 18)
- Energetic, enthusiastic, excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times
- Experience with POS system and handling cash/credit/debit transactions is an asset
- Proven record of customer centric service with excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and processes set by manager
- Exemplary work ethic and commitment to our values
- Highly organized, self-motivated with an ability to multi-task
- Must be available to work all various shifts including weekends, holidays, early mornings and evenings is required
- Must have a G license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and manoeuvre up to 75lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, twist, lift and bend for long periods of time
- Comfortable working in a kitchen as required (Food Handlers certificate an asset)
