Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth seating process.
• Efficiently manage guest reservations and waitlists, coordinating seating to optimize service flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide detailed information about the restaurant, including menu options, special events, and policies, to enhance the guest experience from their arrival.
• Promptly seat guests and escort them to their tables, ensuring a seamless transition from arrival to dining.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach, resolving any issues that arise.
• Maintain continuous communication with servers and managers regarding updates or changes to sections, guest concerns, and special requests to ensure smooth service.
• Answer phones and manage reservations or waitlists with professionalism and courtesy.
• Keep the front-of-house area clean and organized, including the host stand and waiting area.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a cohesive and efficient guest experience.
• Assist with various tasks as needed, including running food, supporting reservations, and providing general support to team members.

Qualifications:

• You might have previous experience in the customer service or restaurant industry. We will consider the right person, with the right attitude who can back-up their abilities through previous work, or involvement in teams (school, work or sports).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding guest service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
• Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a desire to contribute to a positive and dynamic team environment.
