**About This Opportunity**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Coding, obtaining approvals and posting multi-currency vendor invoices, including matching invoices with POs and GRNs
- Reconciling vendor accounts and follow-up to resolve discrepancies
- Preparing semi-monthly payments via cheques, EFT, ACH and wire
- Preparing, reconciling and post credit cards transactions and expense reports
- Responding to internal and external accounts payable inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Filing accounts payable paperwork
- Assisting with month end and year end journal entries and reconciliations
- Completing various projects as requested

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance or related discipline required
- Minimum 2 years accounts payable experience
- Fluent in reading, writing and oral communication in English
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office, especially Excel spreadsheets
- Organized, strong attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and be flexible and adaptable to ongoing change
- Familiarity with SysPro ERP software is an asset
