The Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Surveillance Assistant (SA) position supports the Community IPAC Hub in providing IPAC services to Long term Care, Retirements homes and other Congregate living settings (CLSs) in the communities served by THP.

As an integral part of the IPAC Hub team, the Surveillance Assistant (SA) Under the direction of the IPAC Hub manager, assists with the management of the hub database, administrative responsibilities and additional IPAC duties as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and input data collected in the THP Community IPAC hub database
- Support the hub team in the updating of information related to the IPAC programs of the CLSs served.
- Assist in other Infection Prevention and Control initiatives, that align with the services of the IPAC hub to CLSs

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/Degree in Health-related field preferred
- Experience working with an infection prevention and control program in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Advance level in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
