Role: Intermediate Help Desk Specialist
Client: Federal Government of Canada Client

Contract duration: 2 years (possibility of extension)

Start date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid / NCR
Language: Bilingual

Clearance: Secret

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

- The primary tasks and activities are to support, install, configure and perform thorough troubleshooting of the following:

- Entrust encryption software
- Windows10 workstations
- VPN / RDP Connectivity
- MS Teams
- MS Office 2016
- A/V equipment in boardrooms
- OpenText FirstClass software (JUDICOM)
- Service desk ticket system (creation, update, tracking, using an ITSM tool)
- Various other software/hardware

Skills/Experience Required:

- A minimum of five (5) ears of experience working as a Help Desk Specialist in an IM/IT environment;
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience
- setting up, configuring, and supporting VPN/RDP connectivity and providing related

technical assistance to clients.
- installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Entrust software on client workstations and with MS Suite including MS Teams.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Full-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Help Desk Specialist in an IM/IT environment: 5 years (required)
- bilingual tech support: 2 years (required)
- intalling/configuring Entrust software: 2 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON
