The Academy of Learning Career College is currently seeking a motivated, target-driven sales professional to fill the full-time, permanent role of an Admissions Representative in Surrey.
The Admissions Representative is responsible for guiding students in making program choices and selling AOLCC
- Surrey’s post-secondary programs to potential students.
To thrive in this position, you must have an enthusiastic, results focused personality and a drive to succeed. High energy and a sense for urgency and a love to communicate. Proven success in achieving sales targets in a highly targeted sales environment and have a customer focused approach with the ability to build rapport with a diverse population.
As an Admissions Representative, your responsibilities include:
- Receiving and responding to potential students (domestic and international), staff and funding bodies
- Learning different program offerings, prices and information
- Building strong rapport with students and third parties for possible referrals
- Promoting the programs and services of the college by engaging to the community via online or in-person
- Working positively to influence student enrolment in various programs
- Interviewing potential students while helping to identify their interests and goals
- Completing and following-up on the student enrolment process
- Attending webinars, sessions, community events and trade shows
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts
- Updating and maintaining the company educational support software
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in seeking new opportunities
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and social media platforms
- Good typing skills
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member
- Ambitious and goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed
- Ability to consistently perform at or above daily, weekly and monthly admissions targets
- Strong communication skills through articulate verbal communication and strong listening skills
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport with a diverse population
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license and be willing to work flexible hours
- College or university education or equivalent
- 3 years of successful sales experience

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
