We are seeking a dynamic and personable Admissions Advisor to join our team. This role is vital in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about academic programs, and representing various institutions with professionalism and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and experience in student recruitment/ immigration. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Duties
- Engage with prospective students through phone calls, virtual meetings, and campus visits to provide comprehensive information about programs and admissions procedures.
- Create social media content to promote the program offerings effectively.
- Assist applicants throughout the enrollment process, including application review, document collection, and follow-up communications.
- Use CRM to collect applicant data accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with academic departments and staff to ensure a seamless admissions experience for prospective students.
- Participate in recruiting events, promotional events and community outreach initiatives to attract diverse applicant pools.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional policies, program offerings, and industry trends related to higher education recruitment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships with prospective students.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public speaking, recruiting, or immigration industry preferred; strong communication skills are essential.
- Ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences in a clear and engaging manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing applicant data and follow-up tasks.
- Passion for education and student success, with a professional demeanor that reflects the institution's values.
- Prior experience in higher education admissions or related fields is a plus but not required. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals committed to supporting students' educational aspirations while developing their professional skills within a vibrant academic community.
