This position is tasked with performing at a high level, capable of prioritizing and strategizing all facets of the job with the core competencies and values of the Company. The job requires strong leadership qualities, the ability to problem-solve and think creatively. The _Executive Assistant to the VP of Mountain Operations will have developed knowledge and skills through formal training and considerable work experience._ **Responsibilities**: - Provide strategic support to the Vice President of Mountain Operations through close partnership with the Mountain Ops Leadership Team. - Communicate and liaise within Vail Resorts Director, Senior Managers, Managers, and their assistants and other members of the team. - Act as a liaison between the managers, suppliers and partners. - To ensure all verbal and written internal, external, incoming and outgoing correspondence are processed in an accurate, effective and timely manner. - Provide administrative support, including but not limited to; maintaining the VP's schedule, assisting in reconciling monthly credit card statements, project planning /support, preparing monthly variance reports, reconciling and resolving A/P issues or accruals. - Understand financial reporting and basic accounting systems, including Budgeting, Capital Planning, payroll, expenses, A/P and A/R processes - Schedule, prepare packages for, attend and document meetings for reference to the different leadership teams (including Manager Meetings, Strategic Planning Meetings, Capital Meetings, Special Projects, etc). - Scheduling of calendars, meetings, events and travel arrangements. - Provide support to all Managers and Supervisors during peak times or when required. - Provide support to other divisional Executive and Administrative Assistants and other members when required. - Deliver an "Experience of a Lifetime" to our guests and employees. Promotes a guest service and Safety culture within the department. - Has a good understanding of Whistler Blackcomb, Mountain Operations Division and Vail procedures - Provide administrative support for All Mountain Operations Leadership Team - Assists with employee communication and Human Relations functions - Identify challenges and solve a multitude of issues with accuracy and haste - Works closely with other on-mountain departments, managers, and third party agencies. - Demonstrates Vail Resorts Competencies: Re-Imagine, Out Front, Drive, Develop, Connect, - Exhibits Vail Resorts Values: Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun.
