CM2 supports Marketing and Customer Relationship Management activities at General Motors of Canada Ltd. The GM team of CM2 is based at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa;

GM markets four automotive brands in Canada (Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac) through Canada's largest automotive dealer network.

CM2’s service offering includes Dealer Direct, a web-based platform that facilitates marketing activities between GM brand marketing teams, regional marketing offices, field staff, and dealers across Canada. The Dealer Direct service supports execution of multi-channel direct-to consumer campaigns, lead management, and enterprise performance metrics. CRM activities include multiple campaigns through the customer lifecycle, to stimulate sales and service retention and related offerings (protection plans, accessories, financing, etc.).

**Overview of Position**:
**Key Responsibilities**

**Recruitment and On-boarding**
- Work with department leaders to define/refine job descriptions for posting
- Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding process for new hires
- Collaborate with IT to arrange equipment and access credentials.
- Organize onboarding materials, employee handbooks, benefits information, and compliance documentation.

**Performance Appraisals, Training & HR Coordination**
- Facilitate employee performance appraisals with department leaders
- Track employee participation and completion of mandatory training programs
- Coordinate employee vacation tracking procedures
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Respond to general employee inquiries regarding HR procedures and HR supports

**HR Documentation and Correspondence**
- Draft and distribute internal employee communications and announcements.
- Manage and maintain accurate HR files, both physical and digital, ensuring secure and confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Maintain awareness of legal & regulatory requirements, and manage compliance.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clear, respectful, and effective interactions with employees at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Strong planning, time management, and multitasking abilities to effectively manage a variety of HR responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all HR processes, from documentation to compliance with policies and regulations.
- Team Orientation: Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments; build relationships.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).

**Education/Experience Required**:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience with related HR management activities
- A diploma/degree in Human Resources Management preferred
- CHRP Designation is an asset
