- Overall Service Delivery and Quality of Work
- Leading a team of Regional Practice Leaders and Practice Specialists
- Working closely with the Practice representatives from the other Pinchin Group companies
- Develop a national strategic plan in conjunction with Regional Managers/EVPs, for new business opportunities and service features that align with Corporate Strategy and Market Need
- Providing technical training and mentoring within the Practice
- Sharing expertise with others on the team and in the company
- Performing regular visits to all offices offering Indoor Environmental Quality services
- Speaking or moderating at relevant conferences and networks with industry leaders
- Ensuring that knowledge is shared with current and prospective clients at company-sponsored seminars, with white papers, blogs, etc.
- Publicizing the company’s practice area expertise
- Leading technology advancements within the Practice, including but not limited to researching field data collection tools and reporting efficiencies using technology
- Representing the company’s practice area expertise in developing new business and services
- Developing and maintaining templates, SOPs and other Practice resources
- Auditing completed projects and mentor team members to improve quality.
- Maintaining an awareness of Practice Line Financial and Business Performance.
- Contributing to the development of new business materials and presentations related to the Practice.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the Director of Practice Leadership, CTO or CEO.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science or Applied Science degree in relevant discipline.
- CET or other relevant credentials; a CIH, ROH, or P.Eng. designation will be considered an asset.
- 10+ years in a related role; experience within the consulting industry will also be considered an asset.
- Experience with training and mentoring staff
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strength in leadership, communication, negotiation, time management, and decision making.
- Proven positive attitude towards technology advancement within fieldwork and reporting.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and proof written reports and correspondence.
- Relationships with research institutes and academia would be considered an asset.
- Availability to travel
