Field Security Supervisor

Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for experienced and dedicated Field Security Supervisor to join our exciting, hard working and growing Crossing Guard team in Toronto, Ontario

**JOB SUMMARY**

Under general supervision of and reporting to Service Delivery Manager, the Field Supervisor is responsible for quality assurance of the school crossing guards by fostering relationships with the front-line staff. They also will ensure that crossing guards are present for all required shifts and carrying out their duties as outlined by the client and Synergy Management. They are also responsible for building relationships with schools within their designated areas. The Field Supervisor position represents management in the field and is crucial to ensuring that service delivery obligations are met.

**Specific Duties**
- Conduct site inspections to ensure that staff are present for their scheduled shift(s)
- Stand down in emergent circumstances
- Manage lead crossing guards to facilitate location coverage and QA inspections
- Perform Quality Assurance checks to ensure staff are crossing pedestrians in compliance with training and policies
- Perform on-the-job training, coaching & mentoring as necessary
- Assist crossing guards with TrackTik app issues including punch in/punch outs and troubleshoot when needed
- Understand challenges in the field and communicate such challenges to the office management team
- Conduct field investigations and/or assist the Service Delivery Manager with other duties associated with investigations
- Conduct disciplinary conversations and issue write ups as required
- Respond to occurrences that may occur in the field such as workplace injury, harassment etc, and provide support and guidance to crossing guards in these situations
- Orient all new crossing guards working at the assigned crosswalks
- Submit daily shift logs, incident reports, follow up incidents or other reports as requested
- Act as a liaison between the front-line employees and office management team
- Maintain up-to-date vehicle inspection logs and report any anomalies
- Participate in Town Hall meetings and other operational meetings as requested
- Perform administrative duties as required

**Desired Skill & Attributes**
- Hold a valid Ontario G-class license with a clean abstract
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate proven supervisory/leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability in preparing and maintaining clear, concise, and legible security reports and detailed records.
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer-service skills, including conflict resolution, problem-solving, decision making, situational assessment and communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to complete police vulnerable check
- Desire to coach & mentor crossing guards
- Ability to build relationships with other
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self sufficient
- Ability to walk pedestrians safely across busy intersections and react safely and decisively to traffic conditions
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions (cold, snow, heat, humidity, wind etc.)
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

Pay: $23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
