Westguard is looking for supervisors for the Cruise ship season We are looking for a career driven, highly motivated Security Supervisor to work at the Cruise Ship Terminal. This is a full-time position in which you will be required to work for the full Cruise ship season and will have the opportunity to be considered for future seasons and/or other assignments based on performance and business needs.

The site is fully transit accessible in Downtown Vancouver.

**Hours of Work**: 0600-1800hrs

**Wages**: $23.50 Hour

**Job accountabilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Leading a team of guards and working to develop their proficiency
- Working with the client to develop a strong security program
- Access control
- Crowd control
- Foot patrol
- Assisting visitors with directions in/around terminal
- Watching for safety and security breaches
- Providing first aid
- Monitoring CCTV
- Various administrative and clerical duties
- Valid B.C. Security License required
- MTSC or RAIC clearance required
- Class 5 Driver's License
- High School Diploma / GED
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Comfortable working independently and in varying weather conditions
- Write clear and concise reports relating to protective, compliance and other security incidents.
- Trained in conflict resolution
- Remain calm and provide clear direction in emergency situations, makes the initial decisions during an incident and escalate to appropriate client management for action.
- Has previous work experience in security and customer service
- Able to handle himself/herself in high pressured environment
- Ability to multi-task effectively
