Lead Carpenter will carry the responsibility to work independently, and have patience and a positive attitude towards the growth of his or her peers. We are a fast-paced driven environment, so understanding the balance between performance and quality is a must with these positions.

NCI is a front runner when new products are introduced to the industry/market, so having a background in light residential to heavy commercial/industrial could be a huge asset. Problem solving and vast knowledge/understanding of blueprints is key due to new and existing construction with their components.

There are a lot of dynamics to consider. We have 3 divisions: Millwork, General Contracting, and Service. NCI is very focused on growth currently. Please consider that you will be asked to work at nights, some weekends and travel. We would rather be transparent, this position may not be the best fit for everyone. There are benefits and premiums to these particular situations which are all established prior to anything being asked of any individual. What you must have is a license, transportation, along with all necessary skills to perform a large variety of tasks and basic hand tools.

4. Job reports daily ensuring senior management are informed and up to date constantly with the progress of a project.

5. Leaving home for periods of a few days up to 2 weeks at a time.

6. Being courteous with clients and staff speaking to fellow staff respectfully.

7. It will be your responsibility to ensure materials are accounted for each project and that there are no delays, and if so must provide a reasonable explanation.

8. Be independently responsible, and provide supervision to those we mentor

9. Code of conduct, policies and procedures are to be followed at all times.

10. Most importantly, believe in yourself and give others an opportunity to learn/prove and believe in themselves.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- carpentry: 4 years (preferred)
