**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Winters Instruments is currently looking for a highly motivated, driven and focused Regional Sales Manager to cover the region of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. This role is based in Edmonton.
**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**
- Daily operation aligned with Winters' Core Values, reflected in customer communications.
- Grow sales and maintain gross margin profitability in line with annual budgets.
- Set and monitor sales budgets for regional distributors.
- Identify and secure new customer opportunities (OEMs, EPCs, Fabricators, End Users), driving business through channel partners wherever possible.
- Develop solid relationships with new/existing accounts, providing support as needed.
- Develop an annual sales plan with VP Canadian Division to achieve objectives.
- Build internal and external relationships to drive sales and maintain profitability.
- Conduct joint sales calls with key distributors to support their initiatives.
- Provide product knowledge/training when needed to support sales activities.
- Present quarterly sales reviews on progress towards objectives.
- Attend industry and distributor trade shows, events, and open houses as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 5-10 years of technical sales / management in a related industry and product experience.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a proven sales track record in Western Canada's instrumentation industry, electronics or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and account management, with a strong network preferred.
- Excellent ability to connect with others and drive sales in a team environment.
- Good business acumen and experience working with customers across multiple disciplines is an asset.
- Skilled in written and oral communications.
- Preferred, work experience within the instrumentation industry
- Ability to travel in Western Canada 50% of the time.
