We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic **Event Coordinator** to lead the planning, organization, and execution of a diverse range of events. **Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand event objectives, themes, and requirements to deliver tailored experiences.
- Develop comprehensive event plans covering logistics, venue selection, catering, entertainment, décor, and technical needs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors including caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue managers to secure the best terms and services.
- Coordinate all aspects of event setup and breakdown, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budgets.
- Upsell additional services such as premium packages or upgrades to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation.
- Oversee budgeting processes to track expenses and ensure cost-effective event delivery without compromising quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving any issues during events.
- Maintain detailed organizational records including contracts, invoices, schedules, and vendor contacts for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to catering, banquet setups, and venue requirements.
- Facilitate guest services during events by managing registration processes, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement in future events.

**Skills**
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor agreements and contracts.
- Proven experience in event marketing strategies that boost attendance and engagement.
- Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Expertise in event planning from concept development through execution across various types of events such as banquets, conferences, or fundraisers.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Excellent time management skills to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of events management software and tools for scheduling and logistics tracking.
- Budgeting proficiency to manage costs effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests seamlessly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for handling contracts, catering arrangements, hotel bookings, or restaurant setups.
- Experience working within hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fundraising activities if organizing charity or community events.
