**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and owner preferences.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by regularly sanitizing tools and equipment.
- Build strong relationships with pet owners through excellent customer service, providing advice on pet care and grooming needs.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
- Assist in lifting larger or heavier pets as needed, demonstrating strength and care in handling them.

**Experience**
- Strong customer service skills are essential to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets or equipment is necessary.
- A certification in pet grooming or related field is a plus but not mandatory. Join our team and help us provide top-notch grooming services that keep our furry safe

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Work Location: In person
