**Key Accountabilities**

Invoice Processing:

- Receive, review, and process invoices for goods and services rendered, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Data Entry:

- Enter invoice details into the accounting system with precision and attention to detail, including invoice number, date, vendor information, and payment terms.

Invoice Verification:

- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation to validate the accuracy and authenticity of the charges.

Vendor Communication:

- Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies, obtain missing documentation, and address payment inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Payment Processing:

- Prepare and process electronic payments or physical checks for approved invoices within established payment terms.

Expense Reconciliation:

- Reconcile vendor statements with internal records to ensure all payments are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed promptly.

Order Entry:

- Enter sales orders into the company's ERP system accurately and in a timely manner.

Financial Reporting:

- Assist in generating accounts payable reports, aging analyses, and other financial reports as required by management.

Record Keeping:

- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files, both electronically and physically, ensuring easy retrieval and audit readiness.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the procurement team, internal departments, and management to resolve issues, provide financial information, and support cross-functional projects.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and increased efficiency within the accounts payable function.

Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards while processing payments and managing vendor relationships

**Qualifications**:

- In progress of completing Degree or Diploma in relevant field
- Experience and strong aptitude for using various software platforms is desirable but not essential (NetSuite preferred)
- Experience with full cycle accounting including month end reconciliations
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices
- Experience with foreign currency transactions and translation
- Skilled at solving problems including identifying inconsistencies in data and information
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Very strong detail and accuracy orientation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong ability to work independently and within a team with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Adhere to a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
