Allcard Limited is an industry-leading innovative manufacturing company specializing in plastic cards. Allcard works closely with its clients to deliver exceptional service tailored to their needs. The plastic cards developed range from gift cards, loyalty cards, and membership cards to I.D. badges, promotional, premium business cards, and hotel key cards. At Allcard, they also provide collateral for their clients’ plastic card needs and an array of services to complement their clients’ card issuance program, such as design services, order management, inventory management, and fulfillment and mailing. Over the past 20+ years, Allcard continues to grow and expand.

We are looking for a driven, highly motivated, and reliable individual who is looking to join a fast-paced work environment.

This position is located at our Cambridge facility.

The purpose of this position is to contribute to the accounting function of the company, assist the Controller, and work alongside the Accounting Associate.

Main Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables
- Be the point of contact for external customers and vendors, and internally with various departments
- Daily cash receipts entry and preparation for deposits
- Process customer payments
- Bi-weekly accounts payable cheque run batch set up
- Credit card reconciliations
- Monthly preparation of reports, including billing, month-end sales, and commissions
- Manage department filing system throughout the year
- Support Controller where necessary in the completion of month-end and year-end financial statements
- Support and train Accounting Assistant as needed
- Other duties as assigned and needed

What you'll bring:

- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Post-Secondary education in accounting or bookkeeping preferred, or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid reporting skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and works well independently and in a team environment
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters

- Reliable and dependable

Nice to have:

- Experience working with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics is considered a strong asset
