**Overview**
The Security Administrator supports the seamless execution of daily security operations through a combination of administrative, logístical, and frontline support duties. This role ensures that personnel, technology, and procedural elements align to deliver consistent service quality. Responsibilities include managing access control systems, maintaining equipment inventories, supporting incident response efforts, and coordinating staff onboarding and training compliance. They also play a key role in ensuring technology systems like TrackTik are optimized and accurate, and contribute to broader initiatives such as audits, SOP reviews, and project-based improvements.
- The wage range listed is for an Independent Contractor role operating under their own Incorporated entity._

**Responsibilities**
- **Operations and Technology Administration**:

- TrackTik administration (updating guard tour locations, creating routes, QA on reports)
- Technology and communications maintenance (radios, Sonim, etc.)
- Remote support for MLA operations (data entry, tech troubleshooting)
- Project-based/audit-driven support (SOP reviews, post orders, audits)
- Flight operations assistance (printing manifests, confirming arrival times)
- **Access and Asset Management**:

- Access control (card issuance, programming, auditing)
- Uniform and equipment inventory tracking
- Signing in/out and tracking of tech tools and equipment
- **Training, Onboarding & Compliance**:

- Conduct New Hire orientation and training
- Train the Trainer for vehicle/driving testing
- Ensure team certifications/licenses/documentation are current
- Scheduling support and onboarding logistics (uniforms, documentation)
- **Operational Support and Incident Response**:

- Daytime SOC relief during breaks/absences
- Act as a force multiplier during major incidents
- Provide frontline support as needed

**Skills**
- 2-4 years of experience in a security operations, site coordination, or dispatch environment, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Extremely organized, high level of accountability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while effectively supporting team-based operations
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental coordination
- Calm and dependable under pressure, especially during major incidents or system disruptions
- Strong knowledge of TrackTik and able to learn new software systems
- Demonstrated experience with access control systems (e.g., issuing and programming security credentials).
- Experience training or onboarding new staff, including coordination of uniforms, documentation, and basic compliance.
- Experience with inventory tracking, equipment issue/return, or asset control
- Valid Security License
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract

**Additional Qualifications that would be an asset**:

- Post-secondary education in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with QA practices, reporting, and SOP auditing or maintenance is a strong asset.

**Working Conditions**
- Remote mine site location (fly-in/fly-out), Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to extreme climate conditions such as severe cold
- 12-hour shifts, including both day shifts and night shifts, on a rotational schedule (3 weeks on/3 weeks off)
- Remote living conditions, accommodations, meals, and site amenities provided
- May require lifting up to 100 lbs and walking up to 12 kilometers per-shift
- Potential physical intervention, including the restraint of individuals when necessary
- Able to work in environments with flashing lights (emergency services) and loud noises (sirens).
- Potential exposure to high-voltage electrical fields, which may interfere with implanted or wearable medical devices such as pacemakers, insulin pumps, or neurostimulators. Individuals with such devices should consult a medical professional before working in these areas.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
